Who does the hardware installation and maintenance?

Enertiv offers a turnkey solution. We manage everything—onsite surveys, software setup, hardware installation and maintenance, onboarding, team training, and ongoing support.

How do you get utility bills?

You can connect Enertiv directly to your utility provider's online account to automatically pull in bills each month. This “set-it-and-forget-it” method is ideal, providing seamless data tracking for ESG reporting.

If automatic syncing isn’t an option—whether due to privacy concerns, lost credentials, or tenant-managed accounts—you can manually add accounts in Enertiv. Each month, tenants or building owners can upload their bills directly to the platform, and Enertiv will track the provider, process the data, and ensure complete utility tracking for all accounts.

Do I have to ask tenants for permission for shadow metering?

Shadow metering is minimally intrusive, often requiring no tenant permissions as seen among some of our largest clients. Our setup lets us measure electricity consumption directly and map it to specific tenants through our software without intervention in tenant spaces.

Do we have to have internet or cellular in the building?

We deploy dedicated cellular networks so that installations do not have to involve IT teams or require building WiFi.
